TAYLOR, MI — Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Michigan, Inc. and its affiliate, Life Support Training Institute (LSTI), hosted a graduation ceremony on Thursday, July 9th, to celebrate 11 new emergency medical technician (EMT) graduates at Superior Ambulance’s Taylor Station.
This graduation marks another milestone in Superior Ambulance’s ongoing effort to strengthen the region’s EMS workforce and meet the growing demand for skilled emergency medical professionals across Michigan and the Midwest.
“Today’s graduation is a testament to the power of workforce development in addressing the nationwide shortage of EMS professionals,” said Kim Godden, Vice President of Superior Ambulance. “As demand for emergency medical services continues to grow, investments in education and training are essential to building a strong pipeline of skilled providers. This ceremony recognized the dedication and hard work of the graduates as they completed the EMT certification program. Friends, family members, instructors, staff, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the class and the important role these graduates will play in emergency response and patient care throughout the region.
Through its “Earn to Learn” program, Superior Ambulance guarantees employment to all graduates upon successful EMT certification. Once hired, full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement to advance their education, an incentive designed to reduce barriers to entry and support long-term career growth in EMS.
