OAK CREEK, WI — Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Wisconsin, Inc. hosted a graduation ceremony Wednesday at 11 a.m. at its Oak Creek Station, located at 140 East Rawson Ave., recognizing 10 emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who successfully completed their training with Superior’s training affiliate, the Life Support Training Institute (LSTI).
This graduation marks another milestone in Superior Ambulance’s commitment to addressing the regional shortage of EMS professionals. Through the Life Support Training Institute, Superior Ambulance continues to train and develop highly skilled emergency medical personnel dedicated to serving their communities.
“These graduates are stepping into a profession that makes a real difference every day,” said Kim Godden, Vice President of Superior Ambulance. “We’re proud to help train and prepare the next generation of EMTs, and we’re excited to see these graduates begin their careers and serve their communities.”

Friends, family members, instructors, staff, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the important role these graduates will play in emergency response and patient care throughout the region.
Wisconsin State Representatives Supreme Moore Omokunde (D-17), Russell Goodwin (D-12), and Sequanna Taylor (D-11) attended the ceremony. The legislators praised both the graduates and Superior Ambulance’s workforce development efforts to prepare the next generation of emergency medical professionals.
“Investing in our EMS workforce means investing in our communities,” said Wisconsin State Representative Supreme Moore Omokunde (D-17). “Expanding access to EMS training creates opportunities for people to build rewarding careers while helping ensure every Wisconsin family has access to the emergency care they deserve.”
“Today’s graduates have chosen a profession defined by service, compassion, and commitment,” said Wisconsin State Representative Russell Goodwin (D-12). “Wisconsin depends on highly trained EMTs to respond with skill and professionalism. I congratulate each of these graduates and thank Superior Ambulance for preparing the next generation of emergency medical professionals who will make a difference in communities across Wisconsin.”
Through its “Earn to Learn” program, Superior Ambulance guarantees employment to all graduates upon successful EMT certification. Once hired, full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement to advance their education, an incentive designed to reduce barriers to entry and support long-term career growth in EMS.
Superior Ambulance and LSTI’s education-to-career model continues to serve as a vital workforce development initiative, connecting students directly to employment opportunities and supporting broader conversations around workforce development and healthcare access.
