David B. Hill, Jr. served as a co-founder of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and sat on its Board of Directors, alongside some of the most influential figures in EMS. The National Registry established the first national criteria and credentials for EMTs; before its creation, no standardized EMT certification existed across the country.
