Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Indiana, Inc. was established, providing service to Northwest Indiana and 9-1-1 systems. Superior also redefined Critical Care Transport by incorporating Registered Nurses to function as a crew on CCT ambulances, eliminating the need for hospitals to send RN staff on transports.
